Writing eBooks Under a Pseudonym

Recently, the media has reported growth in sales of electronic books erotica. Erotica books has grown in sales for two reasons: first, people desire to read suspect you've always wanted to read them. Secondly, now available in new ways. Previously, some people have gone to the local library and checked into an erotic novel libraries or even have led to such books, and many people are embarrassed to buy at the supermarket or ask a librarian one, especially if lived in a small town. If you have purchased a book that could come in plastic wrap so no one could see its cover.

The rise of e-books and e-book readers, however, has made it possible to read all you want by buying online without having to be face to face with a person in the box that you can look with disfavor or to tell everyone in town about the books you read dirty. Sure, someone Smashwords or Amazon could access your account, but those people do not know him personally, and with thousands of people who buy these books, who will earn points?

The result is that e-books have created a new kind of freedom for the people. (Note, however, is not completely "anything goes", not long ago, a book with tips on how to become a child molester was available on Amazon for just a couple of days, the book people outraged resulting in thousands of one star reviews from people demanding that the book removes the censorship is happening, and in this case, it probably should, but it is difficult to see the masses come together to stop the sale of erotic books online especially because many people are reading them). While a book is not harming anyone (obviously a book about being a child molester was hurt children), which should be available to anyone who cares to read.

Erotica novels have received the most attention in terms of sales of electronic books, electronic books, but have opened the horizon for many other people reading more "serious" interest. I guess the book industry self-help should see increased sales as well. As can be uncomfortable to buy or watch an erotic novel, the same is probably true if you want to read about mental illness-that librarians whispering intrusive that someone in your family must have a mental illness, if you're reading this book and the same goes for books about alcoholism, sex addiction, books reviewed by teens who wonder if they might be gay, books reviewed by girls or mothers about their periods. Even the most innocent books can cause a person to be embarrassed about other people know what he or she is reading. Imagine a child who wants to read "Little Women", but not because he's afraid his friends will see him and I think it's a fag, or the girl who wants to read "Harry Potter", but his mother refuses because Grandma thought a book is satanic and that the main characters are witches.

With the advent of electronic book readers and electronic books, anyone can access one of these books in seconds and download it to your e-book reader without anyone seeing the book purchased, no one has to do the cover revealing showing cleavage of a woman or two men kissing or titles like "How to overcome his gambling addiction" or "Do you think your son is a transvestite." eBooks and eBook readers have saved people from embarrassment, while giving them access to the information they need or entertainment they desire.

Not only will readers benefit from this freedom, but the authors can benefit from it too. After all, someone has to write all the self-help books and erotic novels, right? However, putting your name on an erotic novel that he wrote could be much more embarrassing than just buying a novel at the grocery store. Why not use a pseudonym?

If you are writing a self-help book, you may not want to use a pseudonym because it is necessary to have some requirements for people to think you are qualified to tell you how to improve their lives, but there are no such requirements of writing a novel erotic. You only need to have a wild imagination and be able to write well, even if misspelled, it is likely to sell some books, but if you want to create a legion of fans, it has to be a good writer, yes, even for erotica books.

Writing a book under a pseudonym was not always easy to do, but has not been easy to sell books. In the days of the sale of bricks and mortar bookstore, rather than an author can do who wished to remain anonymous and hide behind his pseudonym was his editor would expect his book on the shelves of the library and bookstore that customers would buy the book, and of course, if it were an erotic novel, the book readers will not find many willing to risk his reputation to buy the book unless it was a specialty of "adult" store readers were not afraid to enter the store. No self-respecting author who has self-published a book that would be too risky to go to local bookstores to ask stores to carry the book, and wagging his tongue rather than have everyone in town knew he was the author "carbon."

But today, an author can write under a pseudonym, in book form for him-or herself in an e-book and publish the book online. Only the author and the online bookstore ever need know who the real author is. The author also has the advantage of being able to sell the book online. The author can create your own website to the book-no need to put a picture of himself although could hire a model to pose as the author intended to be imaginary. It can promote the book through the media in places like Twitter and Facebook, and may even be interviewed online through interviews in writing to protect his true identity.
